We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Taylorson, as Service Manager for VB-UK. Ian has more than 25 years experience in the specialist field of chassis engineering, having started out as a mechanic, and has worked closely with a wide range of vehicle bodybuilders/converters and large fleet customers such as Royal Mail, Marks & Spencer and BT, giving him a strong understanding of their operational requirements. Until recently, Ian worked for one of the UK’s leading ambulance and fire appliance manufacturers, overseeing the production, engineering and aftersales operations of the business.

A large part of Ian’s role will be to provide technical support and training to customers, but he will also be responsible for further developing the VB-network throughout the UK and Ireland. We currently have 26 Servicepoints and 7 independent Fitting Centres, but are still looking to refine and develop the network to ensure we have better coverage in all areas.
