New: full air suspension for the Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE

Placed on 03/05/2017

We place a great deal of emphasis on the ongoing development of air suspension systems and are proud to be presenting a new product at this time. We will be supplying a full air suspension solution for the Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE as of mid-2017. The new air suspension system will be introduced at the RETTmobil trade fair, which is set to take place from 10th to 12th May 2017 in Fulda (Germany).

In September 2016, Volkswagen AG presented its Crafter and MAN introduced its TGE: two completely new vehicles that fulfil the wishes and requirements of today's tradesperson. We began developing various air suspension kits for these vehicles even before their launch – thanks to our position as a PremiumPartner of Volkswagen and our close collaboration with MAN, we were able to get involved in the development of the air suspension system at an early stage. Among the benefits of the new VB-FullAir 2C system are a constant ride height, increased comfort, optimum driveability, increased stability, reduced wear of tyres/brakes and lower CO2 emissions. The system also provides the option to lower the rear end of the vehicle: the so-called "kneeling function".

Suitable for use as an ambulance
The new Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE come in an extremely wide range of variants. The engine can even be linked with an advanced automatic transmission if desired, meaning that both vehicles are particularly suitable for use as ambulances. Our intelligent air suspension systems and suspension applications guarantee added value, as the ambulance remains stable and easily manoeuvrable under all conditions, even when carrying heavy loads. This results in a safer ride and reduces the time it takes to get to the hospital.
